My Background

My Education

I was born a U.S. citizen in the Philippines in 1963. I moved to the United States with my family at the age of 5 and benefited from public education system up until my graduation from High School in 1981. I have attended some community college courses. (art, accounting and marketing)

My Family

Dena and I met and started a company in 1990. We married and moved to Ashland in 1992 because we felt it was the best community to raise a business and raise a family. Our two children were both delivered by Dr. Keevil at Ashland Community Hospital and have attended Bellview Elementary. Our Daughter is now attending Ashland Middle School in the 6th grade while our son attends Bellview in the 2nd. We live just outside of Ashland, on 12 acres with 7 horses, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 1 goat, 12 chickens and 2 donkeys.

My Business

Dena and I started Project A, Inc. in 1990 and have enjoyed years of success and community involvement.

Project A is a software solution provider that is currently focused on web based solutions for local government, education, non-profits and small business.

Our Site-in-a-Box for School districts solution is currently in use by most school districts in Southern Oregon, including Ashland, Medford, Eagle Point, Grants Pass and the ESD.

Project A, with the help of two local teachers, developed SPED tracker for tracking and reporting to the state on special education needs assessments and progress reports. This program became the foundation upon which the Southern Oregon ESD developed and deployed throughout the entire state a special education system known as records manager.

Running Project A has given me real world experience and strong skills in understanding budgets, effective management and leadership.
