ABOUT JIM

Jim Teece is the President and CEO of Project A, a global ecommerce digital agency and software developer, founded with his wife in 1990. Current clients include McMenamins, BEARPAW shoes, Dr. Martens, City of Ashland, Ashland Chamber of Commerce and over 600 more.

Jim is the President and CEO of Ashland Home Net, Ashland’s largest Internet Service Provider (ISP), Cable TV and Phone company with thousands of happy customers on the Ashland Fiber Network. They also provide high-speed wireless internet for thousands of rural residents in Southern Oregon via Rogue Broadband and Umpqua Broadband. In 2021 they launched a Managed Home Wi-Fi service at ManagedHomeNet.com that works with any ISP.

Jim is a partner in Art Authority LLC, A company that prints and frames museum quality reproductions from museums around the world via the website 1000Museums.com.

Jim is the publisher of the Southern Oregon Business Journal.

Jim is an innovator, public speaker, and educator. He has a best-selling app in the app store, “Art Authority” and has created community services such as TodayInAshland.com, be.alocalhero.com and FreBa.com.

Jim is very active in the community. He currently serves on the board of directors for Peoples Bank, Rogue Valley Manor, Southern Oregon University Foundation, Southern Oregon Historical Society, Talent Maker City, Northwest Telecommunications Association and Oregon Connections Telecommunications Conference Inc. Former board appointments have included the Ashland Independent Film Festival, Ashland Chamber of Commerce, the Southern Oregon Telecommunications and Technology Council, Asante Foundation, Jefferson Public Radio, Jackson County Fair and Expo, and Software Association of Oregon.

Jim and his wife Dena run all their businesses together and have two young adult children and two grandchildren living in Harrisburg and Corvallis, Oregon. Jim & Dena live on a 30-acre ranch in Ashland with lots of animals and high-speed wireless internet.
